I am working with Solidworks 2013 Motion Analysis. I have reduced the integrator step size, but beyond dramatically increasing my computation time, this hasn't done anything to change my results, or at least not the part I'm trying to change.

I'm trying to plot the displacement of a linear rack against time to determine when steady state is reached. I'm hoping to get these data points to generate a FRF of the system. The rack is connected to a spring in extension at the beginning of the simulation and then released, so the spring force is the only force present. When I plot the displacement vs time I only get points every 0.05 seconds. Due to the scale of my model, this time step is much too large to get useful results.

Anyone have thoughts on how to fix this?
