I am trying to outline a work instruction for how we create mirrors at my company. We are trying to set up solidworks so that when we create a mirror of a part (in an assembly) it draws from a mirrored part template (we use several templates as start files depending on what type of part we are designing) The reasoning behind this being so that our custom properties can say refer to as shown instead of being live. This way our mirror parts automatically direct attention to their master on our BOMs. Any suggestions? It seems that I can't chose a specific template to use to create a mirrored part. Thanks
