I want to model a shell with Multi-thickness. I used from Multi-thickness settings in shell features and choosed many faces But could't change thickness. picture of the model is taken bellow.
please help me,
Unfortunately with the way your part is setup the original features come to a point that when offsetting with the shell is eliminating geometry so it won't generate. The way I'd do it is to use surfaces to create the desired geometry and then use combine subtract to get what you want. I tried to replicate something similar to what you are showing in your picture up above. What I did was offset the faces, trim to make them all the same height, then use surface fill to create the top. Once I had the new surfaces enclosed I knitted them together and did a thicken with the create solid from enclosed volume checked and merge results unchecked. Then I went and did a subtract combine to get the end result.
thanks a lot, I got it.
