I keep thinking in every service pack, this will eventually get fixed... and it never does.
Workflow: You have an RAL number and want to colour your part the same as the RGB values. Wouldn't it be great to type in a number for Red, hit tab, type in a number for Green, hit tab, type in a number for Blue?
Well, you can't in SolidWorks... because when you hit tab to go down to the next field, it BRIEFLY highlights all the digits... and then instantly de-highlights them, so you can't just type in the number. You have to hit "delete" and get rid of what's there. It's very annoying from a UX/UI standpoint!
SolidWorks, can you please fix this?
You are absolutely right. This is an annoying UI bug and it should be fixed. I searched, but did not find an existing SPR reporting it, so I wrote it up (SPR 942929).
Thanks for bringing it to our attention.
