I was wondering whether anyone knows to put a saw tooth trailing edge by modifying this one?
All advice will be appreciated
Not sure how you envision your serrations, the easiest is to draw on a face or plane normal to the edge and put a few lines and then extrude cut with a draft of 45deg.
Easiest, and quickest, take a look at the image I put.
Hope this helps,
Well, similar to Alen Topic's question, I don't know what exactly you mean by serrations and which direction, but here is a quick sample part that I did which shows how I did it.
Basically, I just cut a small triangle through the part, then, using "Composite Curve", I joined all the edges along the path that I wanted to pattern along.
Then I just used "Curved Driven Pattern" and patterned the triangular cutout. In mine, I just had it equally spaced and used 75 iterations, but you can make a specific spacing if you need to as well.
Is this what you are looking for?"
