Hi, i would like to know if it is possible to calculate or find the result of the actual time of flow in Flow Simulation?

for example if I'm going to simulate the flow of water in a pipe of 1 inch diameter and 20 inches length, will I be able to get the exact and actual flow of water from the inlet of the pipe until it reach the outlet of the pipe?

if it is possible, can someone please teach me?

if not what alternative data could I use to define the time close to the actual flow?

You can get the the average velocity or volumetric flow rate from the results, that will allow you to calculate the travel time.

In your example, you don't even really need simulation software. You can use Bernoulli's principle (assuming you know the pressure difference) to get your average fluid velocity.
