Close this Part (chute)

I am trying to make a chute that basically reduces across a couple different angles. How do I close the final side with sheet metal features.

will assume you want to close bottom.
create an edge flange (per jpeg), then edit the flange sketch.

Here is one of several ways to go about it. This uses lofted bends for your chute.

  Its actually the other side that I would like to close. Its an unusal shape. I have tried the edge flange to no avail.

        And another way to go about it....
        
        I can think of several more ways to model the chute. The technique used would depend on what the end goal was and the surrounding parts that I would be designing in context of and taking the best advantage of that.

        Anna thanks for the suggestions. I am actually trying to close the end semi-perpendicular to the one you have closed. Its like a double compound angle.

        Model what you need as a solid with a shell then rip the chute open like my last example.
        
        This should get you what you need.
