Hello,
I'm trying to simulate various worst-case loads on a vehicle frame made of composite panels. I had no problems assigning the materials, and it meshes fine. But when I try to run a simulation, I keep getting the error:
"One or more load/fixture/contact/connector associated entities may not be valid."
I keep getting this on several different loading/fixturing scenarios, and I can't see anything wrong with the contacts and connectors. Can you give me advice on what to try, or what could be wrong in the model?
Hi Greg,
There are many issues related with your simulation case. Couple of them are listed below:
1) There is no Load and Fixture defined in this simulation
2) Surface bodies have to be excluded from the analysis (If you willing to solve your model as solid body, otherwise solid bodies has to be excluded from analysis if you are willing to use shell elements)
3) The global boded contact would not be sufficient in this case and it is recommended to use contact sets defined individually.
Cheers,
