I openend this part out of my assembly, went into the feuture tree and all of a sudden the whole part disappears. but no warnings nothing...
If I roll back I can get it back before combining the 2 parts. (see image)
You didn't hide the bodies?
1. Sometimes when you combine bodies with different display, SW acts srange.
2. Call your VAR, send the file. They will report it to SOLIDWORKS Support and recreate the (can't remember the name) visual stream.
They will delete it and recreate it.
Probably not the issue but try hovering in the area of the part with your pointer, then use Shift+Tab. If you accidentally hit the tab key while over a part it auto-hides it, Shift + Tab brings it back
It's not my post, so I can't give you the points, but your post helped me remedy the same issue, so thank you.
I did give you a "Like" though.
I sometimes have this issue when working with multiple assemblies with parts that have a similar name.
Restarting solidworks has always fixed it for me.
You can also try the default of ctrl+Q. That works most of the time if it's just a graphics glitch.
