Extruded cut with a reverse angle

Question asked by Malcolm Corbett on Mar 3, 2016

Part3.JPGNot sure how best to explain this but I need to create the hexalobular profile shown above, but bigger by say 0.1mm, from the back so it leaves a parallel band at the smaller size approx. 0.5 wide. No problem doing that at 90° or at any other angle that would lead into the profile by an extruded cut. The problem is that the resulting band of smaller profile is not parallel all around. The extruded cut from the back really needs a reverse angle of 60° inclusive to leave a parallel band. Any help appreciated.
