In SW2007, I set up a FLEXLM options file that included a
TIMEOUTALL line to release inactive licenses. Since the upgrade to
2008, I've noticed an increase in license usage, and found that
licenses are not being revoked for inactivity. I see the line in
the log that says the inactivity timeout is set to 900 seconds, but
I've left SolidWorks idle while I went to a 2 hour meeting and the
license manager says I still have a license.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Scott

I have running SNL 2008SP0, but the clients are working with SWX2007.
I get licenses back if the timeout is exceeded. You will see this on the (INACTIVE) entry behind the IN operation.
