    ROTATING REGION

    MARCIN STYRYLSKI

What does exactly mean "rotating region"? Whatis  rotating,  fluid or solid walls inside this region? And when I should set Real walls(which ones?) as a stator, or as amoving walls?

      Thanks in advance

A rotating region is the area that has spinning parts. You need to create a part that represents the area that is spinning. This has to include all parts that are rotating. But does not need to be tight to the size. A fan would have a cylinder that completely covered all spinning items. In the component control section you must turn this part off. Then it will allow you to use it as a rotational domain. Real walls / ideal walls refer to a surface that effects the flow or not. An ideal wall allows the flow to go right through it.
