MIRRORED PART LOOSING CONFIGURATIONS

I keep loosing configurations.

We make alot of parts that are both left and right handed.

I design a right hand part and with the way we machine the parts I set them up with an OP10 and OP20 etc. in which the part is modeled the way it will look coming out of the machine after OP10, and so forth.  This makes programming much easier for our programmers.

Then I Insert > mirror part.

After this I design fixtures to hold said part for OP10 and OP20.

But very often when yo open the machining assembly for the mirrored part everything is blown up because my mirrored part lost the features that make OP10 of the mirrored part.

Open the part and "Edit Feature" and it regenerates and rebuilds fine. All is good with the world, until some later date till it decides to do it again.

This is not with just one part.

It is mirrored parts from any project and any part, simple to complex.
