I have a solidworks title block I used in SolidWorks. I would like to create a new title block in SolidWorks Electrcial starting with my SolidWorks title block template file. Is there a way to do that? Sorry if this sounds like a basic questions, I just had Electrical installed yesterday and have not gone to training yet.
You can save your SOLIDWORKS title block out as a DXF and then import that into SOLIDWORKS Electrical. You will need to assign attributes to each area inside the title block, so that the correct data shows up where you need it to (such as Rev number, drawing creater, design house address, etc)
Phillip, that's what I was thinking I had to do. Just thought that SolidWorks would have a way to import it's own native files. Thanks for the input.
