Is anyone having trouble installing Solidworks Edu? For some reason I keep getting errors when I try and install. If anyone has suggestions that would be great!
What does the error message actually say?
I have the summary text log from my last attempt.

Okay that didn't work, a new conflict popped up.
It says "There is a conflict with Microsoft KB3072630 (published July 14 2015) which can cause Solidworks to become unstable if installed or updated after KB3072630 is applied. Please visit the link below for more information."
I think that KB is built into Windows 10. You could try the fixes Deepak Gupta suggests. But as your SW version isn't supported on Windows 10 there may be this conflict with the KB.

What errors are you getting? And are you installing on Win 10?
It says that "a later version of Bonjour is already installed on this computer, If the installation fails, contact technical support."
Yes I am installing on Win 10.
The 2015-2016 edu version is not SW2016. It is also likely not SW2015 SP5. SW is not officially supported on Win 10 until either SW2015 SP5 or SW2016. It may work if Windows runs it in emulation mode, but no guarantees.
Also, SW has never been qualified to run on Home versions of any Windows. It has always required the Professional version of Windows.
I read on another forum that it may run on Win 8.1 Pro, but it was no guarantees.
My Windows is Pro, I first bought Win 8.1 Pro and I was available for a free upgrade to Win 10.
You can contact student support and they should be able to help you with this issue.
Thank you very much, I didn't know that was a help page. I was able to finally install it.
