one that comes to me is CG - computer graphics - but that can't be right

Greg, I'm sorry for confusion its CG (Center of Gravity), under reference geometry I can show center of gravity symbol in the model, when I start render center of gravity symbol get disappears.
if you have SW2016 it might be possible (can't check - still on SW2014 at work). but they now allowed to do renders with annotations in PV360.
another way would be just modeling a sphere and locating it in position of CG

Not as far as I can tell.
Jagtar,...it renders fine for me in both 2016sp2 and 2015sp5.
.. just a suggestion though, when you assign it, save and exit and reopen... sometimes it gets confused after first assigning or changes occur?
and,.. for it to look correct in position,.. orthographic only,.. that is, you need to turn off perspective view or camera

Thanks for you comments, I'm on SW16 SP0.1, I trird your suggestion, still no luck. I have attached SW screenshot and PV360 screenshot. not sure if I need to use spacial environment or scenes
