I have an assembly that I want to do a pack and go on, but I am having an issue with getting all the associated drawings to be included. Because of my assembly size and the amount of drawing sheets required (50-70 sheets per assy) I have had to break my drawings down into 5-6 drawing packages. When I select the "include drawings" option in the pack and go it searches forever. I left it running last night and came in this morning with an "out of memory" error. I am running a 64bit system with an i7 @3.6Ghz and 32GB of RAM, so I don't think it is my system that is the issue. I think the problem is that I have a pretty large library and it is just taking forever to search for the references when I select "include drawings".
Is there a way to manually select the drawings I want to be inculded or a way to set only a certain folder to be searched?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Colleen
Changing to flat view will speed it up. tick Flat view before ticking include drawings. Once your drawings are found then you can switch back to the more user friendly nested view.
