I am trying to add baffles to my heat exchanger model but do not know how to do it. Can someone please help me regarding this? I am also attaching the file.
Hi Bhanuveer ,
could you be more specific with what it is you are trying to do. maybe post an example picture of the results you are looking for?
I agree with Scott. I am BAFFLED as well on how to help without more info.
...maybe you're wanting fins on the helical tube?... then, you'd need to do a curve driven pattern..
As you said if we add fins, is it possible to link the helical tube with the shell and the part 3 box can be ignored.
I want to do a heat transfer analysis on a heat exchanger and with the current model I have uploaded I am able to do only upto flow analysis. If someone can add baffles like picture posted by Paul Salvador, it's OK but if not even a shell and tube heat exchanger or a double pipe heat exchanger will also suffice. But please try to not exceed number of parts by 9 or 10 and thermal and structural analysis can be applied on it along with flow analysis. I am posting some pictures of the desired model. Thank you for your support.
