I have been using Solidworks for over a year and it has worked flawlessly until yesterday. When I try to "Make Drawing From Part", I select the only template I have available and the blank sheet comes up. First thing I do is go to the "View Palette" tab and select the view I want and drag onto the sheet. That's the way it has been for a year. Now the "View Palette" tab is grayed out, no open part drawings to select from and it says that the "View Palette" is out of date. The refresh button is grayed out so I can't update. When I click on the "View Layout" tab, everything is also grayed out. In the structure tree I see the name of the part that was associated with this drawing, below that is "Sheet1", below that is "Sheet Format1" and lastly, below that is "Drawing View11" (not Drawing View1). The icon next to that is greyed out. I don't know what has happened, but I can't get much done this way! As a side note, if I open a previous drawing drawn prior to this issue, everything is correct and works fine. I can even open a second sheet and insert the part that I couldn't get to open originally. This would tell me that something is corrupted in the template file. Can anyone help here?
