Revision Table

When I check in a drawing document the notes that I just inserted into the revision table get deleted. I talked to my VAR about this and they recommended to clear the setting in Vault Admin that allows PDM to control Revision Tables. I did this and nothing changed - it still clears the last row in the revision table on check-in.

I have noticed that if I write the revision notes in the notes column during check-in then they get inserted into the table in the right area but they are not formatted they way I would like them to be.

How do you control the notes in your revision tables? Do you just write the revision notes in the notes column on check-in and allow PDM to control it? Could this have something to do with Life Cycle?
