Did you check for small gaps? That could also cause problems. Try incompatible mesh or mesh controls (that work) on the offending part.
From the image, it looks like you may have some extremely thin solid components in your model that you are trying to mesh using solid (three dimensional tetrahedral) elements. Typically, we recommend shell (two dimensional triangle) elements for thin geometries.
