I modeled the 2 grooves but it took me quite a few steps because of the draft on the side. I was wondering if there is an easier way to do this.i placed all the features in a folder called "Groove Folder". I need to have 1 degree draft for the grooves. Thanks for any help.
You can use the profile "Sketch-76" to 'cut' the draft and fillets all at once, so you don't have to create additional features.
Best practice is to make less features and sketches, to create geometry needed.
I did tried to add the radius and draft to the Profile but that did not give me the drafted surfaces on the Side reason for me to do it like this.There is nothing wrong with the way the part is modeled but I thought that some "Model Mania" expert might have a better way to model the part with less features. The model in the attachment is what the part should look like but I'm looking to see if it can be done using less features.
if you don't want the drafted model surface to be your pull direction when adding draft use a plane.
Create the feature, then add draft as separate feature.
or
Create feature with draft option.
or
Create feature, including angled surface for draft representation.
Mukesh,.. the way you did it (as a body cut) was fine... and, if that body was say,.. a trim/decoration part.. it would be a good for splitting off and using in the assembly...
anyway,..I would have done it this way..(attached).. but, it's only one less feature..

Using the flat surface in your image where your pull direction note is located at as the pull direction, your grooves have enough draft for your 1* preference. I don't see the issue or problem. If you are wanting the draft to be normal to the grove path, as if the groove is routed on a mill, then that is a slightly different question.
