For a more clear hole definition, I am wanting to hide the partial holes shown in my detail A view.
What is the easiest way to accomplish this?
Manually, you can RHC and hit hide edges. I'm sure this is not the solution you want.

I think you could also create a configuration which would cut out the part of the design which you don't want to see.

I ended up using pack and go on the original feature. I added a prefix and cut the back half of the assembly off.
Shows up perfectly now.
I wish the detail view had a distance offset. Meaning you could select the depth that the detail reveals.

You can get sort of get a depth detail view by first adding a broken-out section view to your main view. Then add a detail view of the broken out section (just make sure it has the same profile, you can sketch a circle on the broken out section and use a coradial relation). A little kludgy, but that might get you the results you're looking for.
