I am working on a stent design project for a bio medical application with SolidWorks 2016 Premium. I have created a pattern that is repeated three times along the horizontal axis.
I would like to repeat this pattern along the vertical axis, but with an offset of Pi / 3 for each of the 2nd rows so it looks like something like this (Photoshop image):
How can I achieve this with the Linear Pattern feature or any other SolidWorks feature?

If you use the Move/Copy Body feature you can copy the solid body and move it in all three axis if you chose, you obviously only need to manoeuvre it along 2 axis. So if you use this function to add the second level, you can then run a second pattern to get the extra levels.
Possibly Linear Pattern the body vertically to achieve your height of "4 stories" height, do not merge solids. Move/Copy Body to move the 2nd & 4th story body in the pattern to the left "Pi / 3", Combine body feature.
Could you not do a linear pattern in both x and y, x being your formula and y as your vertical pattern than ignore instances (I. E. Ignore 1,2 2,1 3,2 4,1 etc.)
