Thanks for the suggestion, i tried it out with a 10MB assembly file, it got converted into 1.7MB part file.
I will check with few other assemblies.
What is the kind of test you want to perform? Can you you use any other file; if yes then look at 3dContentcentral and see of you can find some over there.
1. Make a pattern of bodies with 10-20 instances .
2. Increase the image quality.

As Alin said, a pattern will increase number of faces and thus file size.
Adding configurations will also increase file size. You can do this easily with a design table.

If it's just for bandwidth stressing, then any 100MB file will do the job.
The easiest I've used is MS Paint. Quick and easy to create and adjust, you just have to experiment with the Width and Height values.
You don't need to add anything, just adjust the Width and Height in File>Properties.
Enter 6000 for each and save the default all white file. It's 102MB.

Well, You could embed an image into a sketch as well, so make a big enough image file - and insert it into a sketch in the part file.... I've noticed my part file size does increase quite a bit when I use reference images.

Try to save an assembly as a part. My assembly with only a few hundreds of components was saved as a part with 80 MB size. I assume that a bit more complex assembly could be even more than 100 MB
