Hi,
I'm trying to convert this surface model into a solid. I managed to get it down to 1 surface, and it looks to me as if I should be able to "try form solid" under knit surfaces however this doesn't work and I'm having difficulties understanding why I can't make it into a solid.
I've attached the part in question for you to have a look at as I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't look manifold.....
The front half is OK, behind the side windows there's something wrong. When you look at the contourline there is a small gap between the blue (selected line and the black (unselected) one.... When I export it to for example netfabb (nice program for fixing up holes) there are also possible some problem areas around the lower sides of the backlights (I must admit this is via a STL file export, this is rather crude). Solidworks on itself is (in my opinion at least) not the holy grail when you are modeling these kinds of things. I had a lot of trouble also when modeling the nose green house of my scale B25 airplane.... :-)

I've just managed to have another look at with what you said and finally turned it into a solid! I remodelled the back end of the car and removed that split line in the window, there was also a tiny bit of excess surface behind the rear wheel arch which needed to be removed. I've heard from multiple people Solidworks isn't the best for surface modelling however I'm only just starting out and I'm only using this as a basic model to test aerodynamically in Ansys so it'll do, plus I don't have access to any other software!
