We are planning on install one seat of SW 2015 on a company's a workstation laptop and a workstation tower at the office, then use the network license to switch between the two. Since the tower is much more powerful than the laptop, so I only use the laptop when I travel or have to work at home. I'm not familiar with the network license, so if I was to switch SW license from the tower to laptop at the office. Would SW on the laptop work at my home? Thanks in advance.
You could "Borrow" a license for your laptop when you travel. We have several laptop users who borrow from time to time and work on the road or from home.

You can either borrow the license by connecting the laptop to the work network ad using the license manager borrow it till a set time or you can connect to your work network through a VPN connection. You can borrow over a VPN which is usually what I did when I had a laptop because I didn't have to worry about loosing the connections but since we had 5 potential users and 3 licenses I didn't just borrow it by default.
Also if you are borrowing a license make certain to set the return time on it to something that is appropriate for how/when people work. If you borrow it because you are going to be out for half a day and don't tell it to return when you get back to the office the laptop will still have the license.
Should I install SW as Individual first, then download and install SolidNetWork License Manager separately? Or Administration image? We have SW 2015 Premium.
If you install it as a standalone license you're going to have issues with the network license. I suggest installing using the admin image but when you do, you can set up one system first create a settings file that points to all the libraries then reference that in the admin image file so everyone is starting out pointing to the correct directories.

We can have 19 home licenses. Contact your var support and they can set you up with the serial number for the home license use. You are not borrowing so you always have the same number available at your company for use.
