I want to add a decal onto a round face. I created a square geometry feature and applied it to the face, however it stays rigid.
You're going to have to try and add it as a texture to the actual part. You will have to adjust the properties to get the look you are going for and this may or may not work depending on the outcome you want. As far as i know there is still no easy way to create decals and just drop them on a curved part.
You need to create an offset surface of curved surface in your SolidWorks model. Trim the surface (in SolidWorks) as per your decal's size requirement, then try to apply the texture on to it.
The easiest way is to create a part in SW that is the correct size and shape of the applied/installed sticker. Then merge that part into Composer, apply the texture file, and place it on your part. If you can't make the part in SW yourself, you have to bribe and engineer to do it for you
