I am new to solidworks and I want to run a random vibration simulation. I used autodesk simulation mechanical to run a simple test so that I could compare the results of the two. However, I am confused as to what the external load setup should be in solidworks. I have a PSD curve selected but what I am confused about is what the 'PSD Acceleration' should be. I have the x direction selected but what do I set the value to? In autodesk simulation there is no value like this to input.
