Does anyone know what group (if any) M. G. Martinez belongs too? I've read most of his replies, and he seems to really know his s*^t. I'd like to learn more from this guy.

I am not sure that he belongs to any group. He is the Director of Engineering for a major corporation some where south of the border I believe. I thought I had his company website saved but I am not able to find it at the moment.
He and his group are light years beyond 99.9% of the typical cad users. He has been involved in CAD since its very earliest days and truly does really know his stuff.
I would love to have the resources his company has. He has in the range of 600 engineers that work for his company and can really devote the time to the knowledge based engineering (KBE) concepts that are at the heart of true parametric design methodologies.
It would be awesome if he was a speaker at SolidWorks World. What they do would open up a lot of eyes to the possibilities of SolidWorks, Knowledge Based Engineering and Parametrics. I wonder if he has the interest and the time?
I wonder if anyone at SW has ever asked him to present at SWW?

Thanks for the Info.....It would be great to have him present at SW world. I really wish more people were interested in Knowledge Based Engineering and Parametrics. I am having a hard time finding information and training in this area. I would really love to learn more about this. I would also love for my company to get on board with this technique. I've been telling them about it, but I do not know how to do it myself, so it's hard to convince others that this is really the way to design.
I've seen your post as well. There are a handful of members that I try to keep up with. Mostly those associated with DT, configs, and KBE. I've just started designing and I'd like to learn good practices up front instead of bad habits that are hard to change later.
Thanks again for the info. If you know of any tutorials, info, contacts, books, etc related to KBE, please let me know. I really appreciate any info.
