silent install not working

Question asked by Pedro Willis on Jan 15, 2016

I am trying to install solid works silently using PDQ. We have a licence server for our licencing and I have gone through and created an admin image.

I have used the following command line

msiexec /i "\\FCITAPPS\ProgramStore\SolidSolutions\2015\SolidWorks2015\SOLIDWORKS 2015 x64 SP05\swwi\data\SOLIDWORKS.msi" INSTALLDIR="C:\Program Files\SolidWorks 2016" SOLIDWORKSSERIALNUMBER="**** **** **** **** **** ****" SERVERLIST=25734@FCLICSVR ENABLEPERFORMANCE=0 OFFICEOPTION=0 ADDLOCAL=SolidWorks, SolidWorksToolbox /qb

whenever I try to deploy this it times out stating

Remote Process exceeded timeout for completion. Are you missing silent install parameters?

I'm not too sure what the  ADDLOCAL parameter does!

Hope you can help! don't fancy manually installing this to 80 machinces manually!
