Having said this, I do not believe SolidWorks has any educational licenses for home use.
I am not sure they will give for free, but they do offer an educational version it is a 1 year license and I believe it is right around 80$. your school book store should know. Good luck!
If you school/ college has a class pack license then you should be either be able to get the student design kit or student access kit for zero cost, best to get in contact with your teachers/ lecturers.
