Our Company just purchased break press programming software that only accepts STEP files. I was wondering if there is some macro out there that will allow me to open an assembly file and export individual parts from that assembly as STEP files into a specified folder on our network. more specifically only the sheet metal parts. but i can happily live with just exporting every part as STEP.  our part numbering system makes it easy to identify what is not a sheet metal part, so it would be no problem to go in and delete the parts that are unneeded after the fact.
