I am using SW2014 SP5.

I am mating some fasteners and using the "lock rotation" option on the concentric mates. With some of the fasteners, I receive a SW message when I attempt to lock the rotation:

MATE

Rotation is already locked for all concentric mates.

And it will not let me lock the mate. I tried with both the RMC menu as well as the check box in the mate property manager. Any thoughts on what might be causing this behavior?

Obviously, not ALL of the concentric mates are locked or I wouldn't be writing this. This problem mate is between the cylindrical face of a fastener and a sketch point. Two other fasteners - same style screw, different length and different part file - have their concentric mates locked. Those mates are between the fastener's cylindrical face and the cylindrical face of a nut. All pretty normal stuff.

Thanks,

Daen
