I just want the numbers in my ordinate dimension to display horizontaly. It's easier for the welders to read that way and I don't want to hear them cry about it. Can this be done?

Question:Is it possible to rotate the orientation of ordinate dimension text?
Answer:No, the dimension text of ordinate dimensions can not be rotated.
SPRs 555429 and 182827 both request this functionality.
Tell the welders to turn the paper 90° clockwise!!
Definitely, at least until SW gives me the option, if they do. I'm sure as hell not going to do it manually

Those welders can be a bit finicky.. In order to appease them I would do as Christopher suggested or do your horizontal ordinate dims. Then add a note (leader to edge of feature). Click on the corresponding ord dim to populate the note (You can change the leader style). Then hide the ord dim. If you change the feature locations the notes will update accordingly. This of course is a work around and by doing this it may not be per standard but I don't think your welders care about that.
I'm putting a 40' bus on an 8.5" x 11" paper so I cant really rotate the model without shrinking it to a size that's illegible. Dennis that's a good workaround but I'd rather hear them cry than waste my time and company money putting notes on every dimension. I'm sure my boss would agree too. They'll just have to deal with it. That's ok, if I fixed it they would find something else to whine about anyways... Gotta love laborers.(no offense to anyone)
