I've heard that it's possible to take a certification exam at Solidworks World. How do I sign up for this, and is there an additional fee besides the conference pass?
Official answer from Solidworks email:
Yes you would need to sign up ahead of time. There should have been a sign up at the time you registered for the conference but if the slots were all full you may not have then been given the option.
There are two testing sessions on Sunday, Jan 31 at the conference…one at 10am and the other at 3pm. Both sessions are at Trinity 1 – 6 of the Omni. Come to the testing area about 30 mins before either session and you can sign up on the waiting list. There are usually a lot of people who don’t show up to testing so there is usually plenty of room to accommodate everyone. We then start letting in people on the wait list at the time the session starts.
I could not recall if one needs to be signed up in advance but sure that one can walk-in to take exam. There is no additional fees for the exam AFAIK.
