I am currently working on building a shoulder joint for a human model, and I have a socket joint that is a model for the shoulder. In order to allow the frontal and sagittal planes, a set of two revolute type joints are necessary to isolate the two planes of movement for the purposes of joint angle/force measurements. Is there a way to either allow for the limited advanced angle mate to not be conflicting in two directions, or to use the hinge mates with the existing planes we have? There are no flat or easy places to create a hinge upon, since it appears to be a 3D body scan, so picking points for these mates has been challenging. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
