Hello all,

I have a model pictured below that I am trying to create a channel for.  This part was created using surfaces so I think using standard extrude/ revolve cuts will be out of the question.  The sketch pictured here is what needs to be cut into the part at a uniform depth of .050".  My goal is to first be able to produce this cut.  Secondly I will be splitting this top part into (2) pieces to create a lip for the two pieces, similar to the lips created on the side of this part.  Any ideas.  Thanks in advance everyone.
