Hi,

I am becoming increasingly frustrated by the Create Layout Mode in SolidWorks. I cannot seem to do a Cam Mate between a Cam and Follower when in Layout Mode (I want to do a Top Down Part Assembly from Blocks). Having created the Blocks I wish to test the cam and follower mechanism. However, SolidWorks does not make the 'Make Path' option available when in this Layout Mode. I can do it while in Sketch Mode or ordinary assembly mode but not in Layout mode.

Am I doing something wrong or is the Make Path option simply not available when in the 'Create Layout' Mode.

Any help appreciated!
