I want to run the Copy Settings Wizard through command line without GUI options. Is Copy Settings Wizard supporting command line options?
I want to know the answer to this as well.
The normal answer to this question in these forums is to use regedit to import the file.
But in our tests, if you take a setting like this from Jane Smith's computer
And restore it on Bob Jones' computer, the Copy Settings Wizard will change this to:
Regedit won't fix that.
So if we wanted to run the wizard from a batch file or login script, how would we do that?
We put or store our company's and all users SW Reg Files on the network.
One common repository for all to access, using scripts, manual or otherwise.
We were using it to apply common settings to all users.
