I am new to Solidworks Composer.
I want to rotate my model only inside the Digger in Composer. The actual view should be static.
I want to use such digger in animation.
Is there any possibility to do this?
Far as I know this is not possible. For what you are trying to achieve I would do a separate animation of the digger view and just merge it into my other animation in another software. Depending on what exactly you are using the digger for this may require some other editing in other software to make look correct. For instance if its only a zoom since its a separate animation I would just zoom into that area and not even use the digger. For something like the xray or onion you may need some post work to clean it up and make it look good to be merged.
Thanks for responding.
I actually want my model to rotate 360 degree inside that digger.
Can you let me know in which free software we can merge one video into another?
Is it possible in Windows Movie Maker?
I am not sure if Movie Maker will do merge or not you would have to check, I don't use any free movie editing software just know there are some that exist. I use Adobe Premiere which is a paid software, If you are going to be doing animations you might want to look into getting Adobe Premiere Elements. It has a lower learning curve then Premiere Pro and costs less.
One thing you could also do would be make a copy of your assembly in Composer. You could then rotate one while the other stays static. This would give you a larger file but would cut out doing it in post production. I would probably do it this way while you are learning better methods in a video software you choose.
