Copy the body.
Close your sketch and make a hard turn at the start and stop locations of your sketch so its easy to use them during your sweep.
Wrap Your sketch on one of the bodies.
Use the other Body to cut into the part.
Delete the body with the wrapped sketch.
I am using SW 2015 What I did was:
create plane1 and add sketch2
then projected the sketch as a surface up to next
I then used "tools", "sketch tools", & hit "intersection curve" (you have to select all the faces of the surface and then the face of the cylinder)
this created a 3d sketch on the face of the part.

I don't know what your doing but a wrapped path vs a normal path on a cylinder are two different paths. You may need a normal path but don't know what project your working on.
