I have a part that is on the underside of my assembly. I want
to show its location with hidden lines from a top view. However, I
don't want my entire assembly to display with hidden lines.
I've attempted to just create a sketch over top of the view by setting the view to show hidden lines, but there are so many objects in the way, I am having difficulty getting the lines to constrain to the end points of the object. But perhaps this is OK... I am not dimensioning to the objects, just illustrating its position.
Another approach I am thinking of, is to create a new view of just that one object, and then have this view overlap the main assembly.
Any other suggestions about how to do this?
