File size when adding revisions on a model in (E)PDM

Basicly what we now have is a file structure as seen in the attached picture, with in de main folder our working model.

In the Sub-folders are our backed up models from previous revisions

Every revision would ad some (for the sake of argument 10%) amount to the total size on disk

Added up size after numerous revisions:

  • Working Model Only - 1Mb
  • Working Model + Rev.0 - 2,1Mb
  • Working Model + Rev.0 + Rev.A - 3,3Mb
  • Working Model + Rev.0 + Rev.A + Rev.B - 5,7Mb...

My question is, when we would use pdm based revision control, what does that do with the amound of MB's of storage.
