has anyone had any success with the publish to edrawings from inside SWx? i click it and it looks like something happens, but then nothing....thoughts? I can save the part as edrawing then open from within edrawings, but i like the publish feature
interesting. Myself and a co worker are having trouble. Mine does nothing, his actually crashes solidworks..... hmmmm
I dont think there is anything additional that needs to be setup for publish edrawing to work right?
i just logged into my computer at home and it works fine there....the plot thickens....Firewall issue?

I have 2016 installed but don't use it yet (can't stomach the UI). However, when I saw your post I was curious to see if I had the same problem. My first attempt at publishing an edrawing threw up an error saying something about Microsoft Outlook not being my default email program, which I ignored, then the SolidWorks installer started going. Apparently I hadn't run Edrawings before and it was going through the accept or decline and registering stuff. After going through all of that, the Solidworks desktop with the part I was attempting to publish an Edrawing of was still on the screen, but Solidworks was frozen....not toilet swirl, just nothing worked. The task manager didn't reveal that it wasn't responding, so I just stopped Solidworks. Upon restarting SolidWorks, I attempted to publish an edrawing for the same part as previously and it worked, no errors or glitches....go figure.
ah yes! the good old stability of Solidworks!! sigh.....
