I have not foreseen any use of having history. Can someone provide some insight if they use this feature.
I haven't personally used it, but if you don't rename your features, it would be a useful shortcut to recently edited features.
whereas you might roll through a series of undo's to get back to a feature you think is stopping you from progressing, here you are able to see a list.
Also, it maybe helps you pick up where you left off if you are interrupted. So when my boss comes over and insists I put out a fire, real or imaginary, maybe the stress of fighting the fire leaves me blank as to what I was working on specifically. History will help remind me.
The history folder is usefull if your feature tree is longer than your screen. You can acces the last changed features quickly.

I don't use it and set it to 1 in the option because i found that when i use the freeze bar some modification are cancelled.
