Sorry only in a test environment so far. I've got customers that are still afraid to go to 2015 never mind 2016.
That is understandable.
We are quite impressed by the improvements in 3D CAD scheme of things as far as SolidWorks 2016 is concerned and hence thinking of skipping 2015.
Will create a sandbox shortly for testing.
It is not a data migration situation. The name of EPDM is changing to PDM Pro, but it is still the same product with the usual yearly upgrades.
So still a hassle to change versions, but just in the normal way.
Can run the File Version Upgrade Tool to change your files to 2016. At this point we are definitely skipping from 2014 to 2016. I'll wait for at least the 2nd service pack.
Most of my customers are still on 2014 and they are figuring to go directly to 2016. They are just waiting for SP2 or 3.
I'm running 2015 SP4 on my own system and it's running great, no real noticeable issues.
