Custom Properties Value/Text Expression Drop down Missing

There has always been a drop down list under Value/Text Expression in the Properties dialogue box.  I believe it is default list from SolidWorks.  The list is available when I am in a part or assembly file, but not in a drawing file.  It was there, and just all the sudden it somehow went missing.  I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out what happened.  Google, help, our reseller, none of them have been help.  I just want my standard default list back.  There are several properties linked in our drawings that are now giving us errors because this list is missing.  A couple things to note, we use enterprise, and some of the variables are controlled in there for our data cards.  I've looked through all the variable's and they all have .dwg listed under extensions.  I've found an actual text file of the list in the PDM Program data files.  But I don't know what to do with it.  The drop down list is missing on everyone's computer, so I have to assume it's not just a missing link or something set wrong in options, it has to be a file that has been accidentally moved or deleted on the server or a setting that was inadvertently changed.  Any ideas fellow users?  Thanks in advance!!!
