Hi, how do I make an ok message box large enough to show the entire string?
It does look like this is a known issue, see the screenshot form the SolidWorks Knowledge Base below:
Which "OK" dialog? What string? Can you include a screen shot?
I think he means the dialoq box to set a notification when something change the state, right?
Hi Elaine, I assume you are talking about OK Message Box in Dispatch? I don't think you can control the size of the box explicitly. Could you please post screenshots, or attach your ACN file so we can try replicate the issue?
I guess I miss spoke when I said ok message box. It is actually an edit box.
Below is a screen shot of the problem.
As you can see there is not enough room for the prompt I need.
I assume that you are using the VBScript?
I am not sure how to change the window size, but if you put VbCrLf into your prompt line in your code, it will place the remaining text on a new line below it.
mystring = "Enter Production Number for" & VbCrLf & "EX-F23-0595-010" & VbCrLf & "(Use u...."
It will come out look like this:
Enter Production Number for
It is actually a dispatch.
Ahh, I apologize. I guess I am not sure what a dispatch is....and now that I have looked it up....now I do! *Grin*.
Glad that you got at least a direction, if not a solution....
