Hi, I'm using SolidWorks 2014. In the picture below, you can see a toolbar that popped up on my screen, (the one with four greyed icons). I don't know what the toolbar is, but it has stopped me being able to work on solidworks. I also cannot exit solidworks. Any ideas how I can get rid of it?

Thank you very much! I rebooted it and so far I have yet to encounter the problem again.
You can have the same toolbar again if you click on dimension tool like I've stated in my post above.
What do you select that turns on the toolbar?
If it locks up and you cannot do anything, there must be a window open off-screen.
Select the Windows button on your keyboard, and select one of the arrow keys to bring the window back.
You must have clicked on dimension tool and then "DimXpert location dimension" which need you to select another face. You can press ESC button to get out of it. If that is not helping then simply select another face to place the dimension (you already have one face selected in the model).
That looks like the surfacing pop-up, follow Glenn's advice and deselect the tool in the menu as he shows. It must be down a few listings.
That looks odd. I don't have a lot of confidence in this, but the first thing I'd suggest would be to right-click on the top of your monitor to get the drop-down of toolbars and see if anything is selected that looks like it could be that one.
If that doesn't work, I'd try a reboot. Not just shutting down SolidWorks and re-starting it, but re-start your computer.
